'I squeezed my sisters arm-we exchanged silent smiles of amazed delight. Below us an incredible scene is
unfolding. There was some charging and trumpeting from the elephant trying to arrest dominance over the
best area of the saltlick. The two rhino kicked up a bit of dust but have now settled down. A large lion
family seat in a semicircle on the grass!!! the young lions are playing.
The light rain is cold, but my shivers are partly from excitement. We could go in and warm up by the
fire, but we stay out here on the open deck, getting wetter, glued to the amazing scene floodlit below.
